Immune Boosting Gummies

Gummies are a great way to boost your immune system with the building blocks it needs for a healthy Winter. Especially as these ones are loaded with Vitamin C!

Show Recipe

You will need:

2 Cups Liquid (we love the HomeGrown juice brand, or you could do a mix of any of your own home made juices)
4 Tbsp Gelatine (we love the Nutraorganics brand)

  • Pour the liquid into a pot and sprinkle the gelatin over top, mix gently
  • Leave for a few minutes to bloom and thicken
  • Heat on low and stir continuously until the liquid is smooth and combined, careful to keep it warm not hot
  • Pour into silicone molds (or a container works too) and leave to set in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

3 Ingredient Banana Pancake

3 Ingredient Banana Pancake

This three ingredient Pancake recipe is both nutritious and easy to make, combining the natural sweetness of ripe bananas with the protein of eggs and the wholesome goodness of wholemeal self-raising flour (or almond flour for a gluten-free option). Perfect for breakfast or snack.

You will need:

1 small ripe banana
1 medium egg
2 tbsp wholemeal self-raising flour/almond flour (for gluten free option) oil spray or butter

  • Mash banana in a medium bowl until smooth. Whisk in egg, then flour until smooth. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  •  Lightly spray a medium non-stick frying pan with oil or melt some butter, and heat over medium heat. Spoon 2 tablespoons batter into pan and spread out with the back of a spoon until 1cm thick. Repeat with remaining batter to make 2 more pancakes.
  • Cook for 1-2 minutes or until golden. Turn and cook for 1-2 minutes or until pancakes are golden and cooked through.

Too much screen time can make your eyes tired, your body feel stiff and your muscles feel weak. Taking breaks helps your brain relax, your body stretch, and keeps you feeling good.

When you rest, your body fixes itself! Your muscles get stronger, and your brain gets ready to learn new things. Rest is like a recharge for your superpowers.

Why is my spine so important?

Your spine is like a superhighway for your nerves. It protects the messages going from your brain to your body. Keeping it healthy helps your body work at its best!

Why does breathing deeply make me feel calm?

Deep breaths send a message to your brain that you’re safe. This helps your body switch to “calm mode,” where it can relax and heal itself—like a reset button for your feelings!

What things can I do to help calm or nourish my nervous system?

You can do lots of things to help your nervous system feel calm and happy! Try taking deep breaths, smiling, singing, humming, hugging someone you love, or spending time with friends and family. Even playing or enjoying nature can help your body feel safe and strong.
